The overall objective of the ‘Pre-Donation Journey’ was to increase the online conversion rate as part of the Digital Mobilization strategy. More specifically, we aimed for an increased conversion from online petition signatures to donations. In order to provide special incentives to petition supporters, they were offered a three-step web-journey that concretized the problem at hand in combination with a solution that required further support. I designed and implemented the front-end web-version for multiple campaigns. In the end, the 'Pre-Donation Journey' did not only improve the conversion rate but also allowed for additional insights and reflection of the communication efficiency and understanding of the supporters.
